when he grew up he was as big as a giant! everyone else bullied him.

  1. Hey Azura,
I really like your story about the man,
It was a very sad story I really like how you showed some pictures to show what the story was about.Maybe next time you could add more paragraf to
    your story.

  2. Hi Azura,

What a colourful and creative story map you have made. My favourite part of the story is when the gentle giant saves the girl from drowning. What is your favourite part? You have also added a very good description to your post. Next time you could make sure your description includes simple sentences.

Thank you for all your hard work!

  3. Hi Azura,
I love the bright colours and illustrations that you have used for your story map! It just goes to prove that no one should judge someone by how they look, the giant was a lovely kind hearted person. Miranda sure was lucky that the giant saw her boat tip over and he could save her from drowning. I liked that the story ended happily, did you?

  4. Kia ora Azura,

What an interesting story. I love that you have created a clear story map of the story, with all the key parts highlighted. I wonder if you could add a video of you telling the story using the story map? That would mean that those of us that don't know the story could get the whole story from you.

The outline does remind me of a story I read recently called 'The Smelly Giant' by Kurahau. It is a story about a Giant who is smelly and doesn't have any friends until one day ... you could listen to the story told in te Reo by clicking here. It has a Symphony Orchestra playing with it.

Keep up the great learning and blogging,
